Dieting Secrets Of The Hollywood Stars

Dieting Secrets Of The Hollywood Stars

Diets are ten a penny in Hollywood. You could say they're as common as broken dreams. Any nutritionist or doctor who comes up with a new concept in dieting (or even a new twist on an old concept) and has some success in selling it, thinks of moving to Hollywood.

There is no other place in the world where diets and get-slim-quick fads are as welcomed as Hollywood. Hundreds of young men and women, and thousands of not-so-young men and women, pay personal trainers to bully them into exercising. Thousands more keep up to date with the latest trends in the world of weight loss, listening out for that new breakthrough, because their jobs depend on staying slim and beautiful.

And, like anything else related to celebrities, the general public is fascinated by the dieting secrets and eating habits of the rich and famous. Popular wisdom has it that actors and pop singers have access to some top-secret information which they use to stay so slim and good looking.

But in truth it's not like that at all. Famous they may be, but they are just normal human beings. And, like the rest of us, they sometimes struggle to find a diet which works well for them. We all have our own individual genetic make-ups, and what works for one of us may not work so well for another. And celebrities are certainly not immune to letting their cravings get the better of them. You don't usually see pictures of them scoffing ice cream by the tub, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen behind closed doors!

Celebrities don't have access to secret esoteric knowledge enabling them to get a beautiful body. Most of them get their weight loss tips from the same places as the rest of us. They hear them from their hairdressers, from their make-up girls, from their agents and publicists. Or, like so many of us, they follow the latest fashions. Just as they switch from the Kabbalah to Hinduism, they switch from Atkins to Macrobiotic. And some stars hire professional nutritionists to make all of these decisions for them.

We all deal with exactly the same kinds of issues, whether we're famous or not. Sticking to a diet isn't always easy, no matter who you are. Celebrities worry about the effects of their diet on their skin, whether they're going to have more spots, or larger bags under the eyes.

The difference being that stars have an army of people to make them look as beautiful as possible. Make-up artists, hairdressers, lighting experts, and of course the Photoshop guys who touch up all the blemishes which remain. This is the main reason the guys and girls we see in the magazines and on the screen look so good - because it's not really them, not truly them.

But in their favour, Hollywood stars do usually work harder at their diets than many people. When you're in the public eye that much - and they do say the camera adds ten pounds - it's important to try and always look your best. While you or I can get away with having a crappy week when we look bloated and pimply, a celebrity having that same week would find pictures of their ugliness plasted all over the tabloids.

So celebrities make every effort to look their best all of the time. While they're only human, and they slip up the same as the rest of us, they work hard at it and take advantage of any hints, tips, or shortcuts that they find.

Do celebrities use diet pills such as Proactol? Undoubtedly they do. Celebrities are under constant pressure to stay slim, and they've undoubtedly heard of Proactol's successes in clinical trials and amongst thousands of users. There's no way they wouldn't take advantage of that. But they're also highly unlikely to admit to it!

The stars don't have any real dieting secrets, they just have the will to succeed, and the willingness to try whatever is necessary, including diet pills.
