The One Week Diet System is a 'Health to Happiness' product which has benefited from recent TV advertising. It consists of a 'liquid meal replacement and body cleanse' along with diet and exercise tips.

Product Research

Weight Loss Report's research indicates that quite a few people have been using the One Week Diet System - probably thanks to the TV advertising (see ad below) - with some positive results. A typical user's comment (taken from Yahoo! Answers) was:

I loved to see that my breast measures didn't change, but my belly is flattening beautifully. Also, I had never felt so clean after going to the bathroom. You can feel no inflammation in your intestines. I have lost 6 pounds in one week already. I also lost several inches, 2 in my waist. So, now what I will do is go without the program for one week to see if I regain it or not. If it is the product of cleansing I should not be gaining it back in one week. Then I will start it again to lose what is left.


The One Week Diet System claims to be clinically tested, and when we checked it out we discovered that this is a genuine claim. The research was carried out by Dr Michael J Gonzalez et al and the title of the research paper is "Effect of a short term dietary supplement combination program on weight management, adipose tissue, cholesterol and triglycerides in overweight adults."

"After only one week on the dietary supplement program the subjects experienced a statistically significant weight reducing effect. This weight reduction was accompanied with a corresponding statistically significant decrease in body fat percentage. In addition significant decrease in total cholesterol and triglycerides resulted. Also reduction in waist, hip and chest measurements were obtained. We conclude that the dietary supplement combination program studied herein is a safe and effective way to assist adults in weight, fat, cholesterol and triglyceride reduction."

Translation for those who don't speak geek:

In one week the men and women using the One Week Diet System lost weight, lost body fat, and improved their cholesterol levels.

Here at Weight Loss Report we've managed to get hold of another study, as yet unpublished. This also found the One Week Diet System to be safe and effective. The only qualm we have with this is that while the first study found an average weight loss of 7.5 lbs over one week, this latest study found approximately the same level of weight loss in four weeks. With such a new program more research is needed to conclusively show the level of weight loss which can be achieved.

One Week Diet System Conclusions

This system will help you to lose weight. It is made of natural ingredients, and the studies and personal experiences so far have found it to be completely safe and effective.

The negatives are that it's a little expensive (although depending on what you currently eat for breakfast it may not be any more expensive) and being such a new system the long-term results remain unproven.
